Cong monitoring panel on Rajnandgaon tour today

After receiving large number of complaints about graft cases in Central schemes being implemented in Rajnandgaon, the Congress monitoring committee will tour this district on Thursday. The panel has formed teams to visit different blocks of Rajnandgaon district including Chowki, Dongargaon, Chhuriya, Kairagarh, Chhuikhadan, Dongargarh Rural, Dongargarh Urban, Mohla, Manpur, Rajnandgaon Rural, etc. The PCC president Nandkumar Patel, CLP leader Ravindra Choubey and committee chairman Arvind Netam will leave for Rajnandgaon on Friday morning while several leaders have reached there on Thursday.
The Congress alleges that the state government had done corruption in Central schemes including MNREGA, PMGSY, Rajiv Gandhi Shiksha Mission, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, mid-day meal programme, Rashtriya Gramin Swasthya Mission, Indira Awas Yojna, rural drinking water scheme, National Urban Renewal Scheme, Rajiv Gandhi Rural Electrification Scheme, etc.
To expose the ruling party, the opposition has constituted monitoring committee to keep an eye on implementation of Central schemes. The committee has by far toured seven districts – Sarguja, Surajpur, Balrampur (all from October 17-19, 2011), Koria (November 21, 2011), Jashpur (November 22, 2011), Kawardha (November 29, 2011) and Mahasamund (December 13, 2011).
The party spokesperson Mahendra Chhabda informed that the panel chairman and party president would first convene meeting at Rajnandgaon in which PCC members Uday Mudliyar, legislators Bholaram Sahu and Shivraj Singh Usare along with party’s Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha Arun Vora will be prominently present.
According to schedule, the team that will tour northern block of Rajnandgaon will comprise of - Uday Mudliyar, Fulodevi Netam, Basant Bahekar and Rashid Ahmed, southern block – Tarun Chaterjee, Jagan Chakole, Ashok Panjwani and Naresh Dakalia, Chowki – Somprakash Giri, Ashok Verma, Laxman Singh, Sharda Tiwari and Bholaram Sahu.
Similarly, the team for Dongargaon will consist of Gulab Singh, Tarachand Chajed, Shanti Lal Vora and Kanwaljeet Singh Pintu, Chhuriya – Ghanaram Sahu, Ramnath Sinha, Chumman Das Sahu and Devvrat Singh, Kairagarh – Yogeshwar Raj Singh, Nilangar Verma, Sunil Pandey and Motilal Janghel, Chhuikhadan – Chandraprakash Bajpayee, Girwar Janghel, Gokul Chandel and Chitralekha Verma.
The team that will tour Dongargarh Rural will include Chain Singh Samle, Motiram Uike, Sudama Ujjwane, Bhawani Bahadur Singh and Dhanesh Patila, Dongargarh Urban – Ganeshshankar Bajpayee, Vinod Tiwari and Sanjay Shrivastava and Dhanesh Patila Mohla – Devvrat Singh, Raju Tiwari, Mehta Kumar Kaushik and Vivek Wasnik, Manpur – Imran Memon, Krishnakumar Deshmukh, Saheeda Begum and Kulbeer Singh Chhabda, Rajnandgaon Rural – Chanesh Ram Rathiya, Bhagwat Sahu, Bhagwati Sahu, Ikramuddin Solanki, YC’s Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha president Nawaz Khan and NSUI’s district president Zaheen Khan.
