Objects over participation of CG BJPians holding constitutional posts in hustings
Raipur, January 24, 2012
The Congress has complained to the Central Election Commission (CEC) that the BJP was violating election code of conduct as three of its leaders holding constitutional posts in Chhattisgarh were actively participating in poll campaign in Uttarakhand. “A complain in this regard has also been lodged to Chief Election Officer of Uttarakhand state,” informed the PCC spokesperson Mahendra Chhabda, who has sought action against the three leaders.
“The chairman of state’s Finance Commission Ajay Chandrakar, chairman of Scheduled Caste Commission Dr Krishnamurthy Bandhi and chairman of Child protection commission Yashwant Jain are overtly flouting poll code by seeking votes for BJP in Uttarakhand for the past one month. The CEC should take stern action against them,” Chhabda said.
