Cong monitoring panel on Rajnandgaon tour on Jan 20

After touring seven districts and taking stock of Centre’s flagship programmes including MNREGA and PMGSY, the Congress monitoring committee will now tour Chief Minister Raman Singh’s legislative constituency Rajnandgaon on January 20. The PCC president Nandkumar Patel and CLP leader Ravindra Choubey will also accompany the members of monitoring panel in the tour. Besides, several senior leaders will also be the part of the touring team. The party’s senior leadership and committee chairman Arvind Netam have given responsibility to these leaders to collect evidences of graft cases in Central schemes being implemented in all different blocks of Rajnandgaon.
Notably, the Congress monitoring panel has by far toured seven districts – Sarguja, Surajpur, Balrampur (all from October 17-19), Koria (November 21), Jashpur (November 22), Kawardha (November 29) and Mahasamund (December 13).
Recently, the party had disclosed that it found irregularities worth Rs 14918.29 lakh in 101 works which were carried under Centrally-sponsored schemes in Sarguja, Surajpur, Balrampur, Koria, Jashpur and Kawardha. The party claims that there are many more evidence of corruption in these six districts. The monitoring panel has yet to disclose graft details of Mahasamund district.
According to information, the party has received large number of complaints of irregularities in MNREGA and PMGSY works in Rajnandgaon. Considering the volume of complaints, the party has decided to also keep pictorial evidence of the areas where corruption would be found.
The pane will also convene a meeting at Rajnandgaon on January 20 morning which would be attended by PCC members Uday Mudliyar, legislators Bholaram Sahu and Shivraj Singh Usare along with party’s Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha Arun Vora.
The team of leaders that will tour northern block of Rajnandgaon to collect evidences of graft cases in Central schemes are Uday Mudliyar, Fulodevi Netam, Basant Bahekar and Rashid Ahmed, southern block – Tarun Chaterjee, Jagan Chakole, Ashok Panjwani and Naresh Dakalia, Chowki – Somprakash Giri, Ashok Verma, Laxman Singh, Sharda Tiwari and Bholaram Sahu.
Similarly, the monitoring team for Dongargaon will comprise of Gulab Singh, Tarachand Chajed, Shanti Lal Vora and Kanwaljeet Singh Pintu, Chhuriya – Ghanaram Sahu, Ramnath Sinha, Chumman Das Sahu and Devvrat Singh, Kairagarh – Yogeshwar Raj Singh, Nilangar Verma, Sunil Pandey and Motilal Janghel, Chhuikhadan – Chandraprakash Bajpayee, Girwar Janghel, Gokul Chandel and Chitralekha Verma.
The leaders who will tour Dongargarh Rural will be Chain Singh Samle, Motiram Uike, Sudama Ujjwane, Bhawani Bahadur Singh and Dhanesh Patila, Dongargarh Urban – Ganeshshankar Bajpayee, Vinod Tiwari and Sanjay Shrivastava and Dhanesh Patila Mohla – Devvrat Singh, Raju Tiwari, Mehta Kumar Kaushik and Vivek Wasnik, Manpur – Imran Memon, Krishnakumar Deshmukh, Saheeda Begum and Kulbeer Singh Chhabda, Rajnandgaon Rural – Chanesh Ram Rathiya, Bhagwat Sahu, Bhagwati Sahu, Ikramuddin Solanki, YC’s Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha president Nawaz Khan and NSUI’s district president Zaheen Khan.
