The state government
has approved Rs 4.49 crore for Ratkhandi diversion in Kota development block
under Bilaspur district. The project will be commenced only when the Centre
would give its approval under its Accelerated Irrigation Benefit Programme
(AIBP). The officials of Water Resources Department informed that the project
would enhance irrigation facilities in about 240 hectares of land during Kharif
season in Kota region.
