Cong: Crime rise due to no sync between CM, HM, police

Raipur, January 12, 2012

Expressing concern over broad daylight robbery of Rs ten lakh near Rajkumar College at GE road on Thursday, the Congress said that crime in the state was increasing due to lack of coordination between Chief Minister, Home Minister and police administration.
“The government has completely failed to maintain law and order in the state and consequently the incidents like murder, abduction, rape and robbery are on the rise,” said PCC spokesperson Mahendra Chhabda.
“Even the BJP’s core committee has advised the government to take proactive measures to check criminal activities. But the government lacks commitment and hence sense of insecurity prevails in the state,” he said.
