Meira Kumar, Mahant, HP Governor arriving tomorrow


Raipur, January 25, 2012

Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar, Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Processing Charandas Mahant and Governor of Himachal Pradesh (HP) Urmila Singh will arrive in the state capital on January 27.
Meira Kumar and HP Governor Urmila Singh will reach Raipur through regular flight from New Delhi at 6:10 pm on January 27.
Kumar will unveil statue of former chief minister Pt Shyamacharan Shukla during a programme organised by Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) at Gandhi Udyan on January 28. She will return to the national capital on the same day at 6:40 pm through regular flight.
Urmila Singh will stay at Rajbhavan for three days and return to New Delhi via air route at 6:40 pm on January 30.
Mahant, on the other hand, will reach state capital through regular flight from New Delhi at 9:25 am on January 27. At 4 pm, he will inaugurate Fishery festival at Raipur. ON the following day, he will participate in the unveiling programme of Pt Shyamacharan Shukla’s statute.
On January 29, he will attend local programmes in the city in the morning and take part in the concluding ceremony of Fishery festival at 3 pm. At evening, he will leave for Champa. On January 30, he will participate in kisan mela at village Pendri (Dhamdha under Durg district). On the following day, he will return to the national capital.
