BJYM burns effigy of Hariprasada

Raipur, June 17, 2011

The Bharatiya Janata Yuwa Morcha (BJYM) on Friday burnt an effigy of state Congress general secretary incharge BK Hariprasada for his hard hitting remarks against BJP national president Nitin Gadkari, Leader of the Opposition at Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj and Swami Ramdev.
“The Congress leaders were continuously insulting Swami Ramdev and Anna Hazare through verbal assaults because the duo had launched a campaign against corruption and black money. By terming the sadhus like Ramdev hypocrite, the Congress was directly attacking the India culture. When Gadkari responded sharply to Congress leaders for accusing the civil society, the latter went berserk,” said the BJYM’s district president Sanju Narayan Singh.
“Rather, the Congress has exploited the country in the past 60 years and is solely responsibly for prevalence of corruption everywhere. Therefore, the Congress leaders remain mum on issues of corruption, price rise and black money and are trying to divert public attention by giving new statements on daily basis,” he said.
“However, the BJP has decided to fight against corruption unless the Centre takes some concrete step to eradicate it,” he added.
On the occasion, Singh was accompanied by Ajay Soni, Akhilesh Kashyap, Prashant Thakur, Jaiprakash Dewangan, Bholendra Singh Thakur and other BJYM workers at large number.
