The state has recorded 46.9 mm rainfall during the current monsoon season from June 1 to 20. According to information provided by the officials of Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Raipur has recorded maximum rainfall in this season, i.e. 174 mm. The rainfall recorded in the other districts is – Bilaspur – 172.9 mm, Kabeerdham – 55.7 mm, Rajnandgaon – 87.8 mm, Dhamtari – 98.1 mm, Kanker (North Bastar)– 43.8 mm, Jagdalpur – 71 mm and Bijapur – 49 mm.
