The AICC general secretary and general secretary incharge of Chhattisgarh Congress BK Hariprasada will convene meetings of different committees of the party at Congress Bhawan on June 16. He will also hold separate meeting of the PCC office-bearers and chalk out strategy with them regarding party’s statewide rally and public meeting against BJP government on June 26, 2011.
The PCC media incharge Mahendra Chhabra informed that Hariprasada will be on his day-long visit to the state capital on June 16. He will reach Raipur from New Delhi at 9:30 am on Tuesday and hold meetings of monitoring and disciplinary committees at 11am and 2 pm respectively in Congress Bhawan.
Recently, the AICC constituted these two committees along with co-ordination committee for Chhattisgarh to oversee flagship programmes of the UPA government in the state.
Hariprasada will take another significant meeting of PCC’s sub-committee at 12:30 pm. This sub-committee has been formed by the PCC president Nandkumar Patel to prepare charge sheet against the BJP government highlighting issues like corruption and irregularities, lawlessness, etc prevailed in the state. The Congress will submit the charge sheet with documental proof to Governor Shekhar Dutt and President Pratibha Patil.
In the meeting, the sub-committee will submit the report of its first meeting to Hariprasada and seek his guidance pertaining to preparation of the charge sheet so that the Congress could demand dissolution of the BJP government from the President of India.
He will conduct meeting of PCC office-bearers at 1 pm to take stock of the party preparations for its June 26 rally. He is likely to delegate responsibilities to the senior leaders to bring large number of crowd with them to make the rally successful.
