The state Congress has strongly condemned senior BJP leader Uma Bharti for her vitriolic remark against AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh and said she had shown her true colours after being reinducted in the party and she was back again with her uncontrolled tongue and unparliamentary language. “This will only harm the BJP which is hoping to regain power in Uttar Pradesh by assigning main poll campaigner role to the controversial figure like Bharti,” said the PCC spokesperson Iqbal Ahmed Rizvi, Abdul Hameed Hayat, Uday Mudliyar and other Congress leaders on Thursday. Notably, Bharti recently described Digvijay Singh as Rahul Gandhi's ‘spare tyre’ triggering fresh lease of verbal assault on him after a long hiatus of her expulsion from the BJP.
