PCC president Nandkumar Patel will be on a day-long tour to Durg district on Tuesday. He will be accompanied by leader of Congress Legislators’ Party (CLP) Ravindra Choubey. The duo will convene a meeting of office-bearers of Durg Congress Committee City and Rural, all block presidents of the Durg district and state representatives. In the meeting, the duo will take stock of the preparations of the party workers in Durg district regarding statewide Congress rally and public meeting against the BJP government on June 26. Later, both Patel and Choubey will meet the senior leaders, legislators and former MLAs of Durg district and would urge them to intensify party activities in the region considering next Vidhan Sabha elections.
