Patel asks Sewa Dal workers to prepare for Mission 2013

The PCC president Nandkumar Patel has asked Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Sewa Dal workers to start preparing for Mission 2013 when the state would have Assembly elections. In this connection, Patel held talks with Sewa Dal’s chief organiser Ashok Raj Ahuja on Thursday.
He said the Sewa Dal workers should get regular training on poll campaigning procedures so that the party could get adequate support at ground level during elections. For this, he emphasised on enhancing the gamut of the Dal in both urban and rural areas.
He asked Ahuja to ensure Dal workers publicise schemes and projects launched by the Congress-led UPA government in the state and to expose BJP government. He further said that Dal should play key role in maintaining discipline in the party.
To observe birth and death anniversaries of great leaders, Patel said the Dal workers should initiate sanitation or plantation campaign. He said sanitation drive in at least one ward of each city of the state should be launched on the occasion of 20th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on May 21.
