Naxalism from Chhattisgarh can end if the state police would succeed in winning the trust of tribals living in Bastar. “We first need to identify the exact locations of naxals which is only possible when the people of Bastar would help us,” Vishwaranjan said.
Pointing out towards the naxal attacks on security personnel, Special Police Officer (SPOs) and innocent people in Chintalnar and Sukma, Vishwaranjan said the Maoists had been sympathetic with the Bastarians and their sole motive was to overpower people through violence.

During inspection, Nayak requested from Shukla to allow the RMC to construct pucca nullah from Shankar Nagar TV Tower to Vidhan Sabha road on which the latter asked her to send a proposal for approval. Presently, the municipal is digging kuchcha nullah in this area to ensure proper drainage during rains.
Shukla further directed the municipal officials to send a separate proposal for construction of new nullahs after conducting surveys of the wards. He, however, clarified that all technical aspects of nullah construction should be considered while preparing the proposal. The approved works would commence after rainy season, he said.
