“Kashmir is an integral part of India and no one can stop the BJYM from going there. It is responsibility of every citizen of the country to uphold its unity and integrity. Hence, instead of breaking the unity, the Abdullah should develop a mindset to unite the entire nation from Kashmir to Kanyakumari,” they said.
The BJYM had earlier announced that it would hoist the tricolour in Lal Chowk after taking out Rashtriya Ekta Yatra from Kolkata to Srinagar. The yatra will begin from January 12. The members of Minority Morcha said that the yatra is patriotic & nationalist and its sole purpose is to keep the sovereignty of the country intact. “Rather the objective of the yatra is to remember the sacrifice of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee who was born in Kolkata and had always worked for unity and integrity of India,” they added.
