Notably, the Traffic Police have posed stern face towards the norm violating motorists for the past couple of months and are urging them to stop their vehicles at stop line on road intersection during red signals. Still, the people in haste either stop their vehicles on the zebra crossing or even go ahead few meters unless the cop rebukes them. Similarly, the spaces for left turn at intersections never remain empty as the motorists occupy them during red signals.
The 25 roads where zebra crossings, stop lines and parking lanes have been made are at –Bharat Mata School chowk, Gurudwara and Hirapur road near overbridge (all in Tatibandh), Kota road Mahoba Bazar, Amanaka, National Institute of Technology (NIT) chowk and Science College chowk, Geeta Nagar chowk, near Anupam garden at GE road (way to Dagania road), Choubey colony junction, Vivekanand Ashram chowk, Amapara chowk, Rajbhawan road, Devendra chowk, Ambedkar hospital chowk, Medical College chowk, Tatya Para chowk, old bus stand chowk, Bombay Market chowk, Shastri chowk, Collectorate chowk, Gandhi-Nehru Udyan chowk, Raja Talab road near church and Shankar Nagar chowk.
