Maturity comes with age
Controversies always precede Rahul Gandhi’s statements. His unreflective remark that the radical Hindu groups could pose bigger threat to the nation than terror outfits like LeT has one again triggered a new debate whether the Gandhi scion should first take formal training from the senior Congress leaders regarding ‘calculated talks’ or he should be allowed to evolve himself as a politician through his own set of trial and errors. But who will bell the cat? In Congress, none dares to give suggestions to the Gandhi family. Nevertheless, the susurrations continue among the partymen from Centre to states. The state Congress workers think that Rahul’s objectionable remarks can cost dear to the party in elections. They say howsoever Rahul pose himself as a leader of ‘aam aadmi’, he can only pull the crowd but votes remain a distant dream. The party’s Bihar debacle is a glaring example, they say.
