About 40 BJP workers from Chhote Mudhpar (Raigarh district) joined Congress in presence of PCC president Nandkumar Patel recently. The Congress claimed that the 40 BJPians decided to join Congress because of state government’s anti-farmer and anti-poor policies.
The PCC spokesperson Sushil Anand Shukla informed that the 40 dissidents from the ruling party expressed their wish of ‘loyalty shift’ to Patel while he had been to Chhote Mudhpar to attend the concluding ceremony of Kabaddi competition organised by Navyuwak Samiti.
BCC Kharsiya president Natwar Rathore and vice president of Kharsiya municipal council Ramkishun Aditya welcomed the 40 BJPians by garlanding them.
The BJP workers who joined Congress are – Jagannath Patel, Teja Patel, Sumat Patel, Chandrakumar Patel, Sunau Patel¸ Pramod Patel¸ Jawahar Patel, Pappu Patel, Balram Patel¸ Madan Patel, Rajendra Patel, Tekchand, Pardeshi Patel, Radheshyam Patel, Chamra Patel, Nanki Patel, Prakash Sidar, Gorelal Patel, Shiv Prasad, Anuj Yadav, Devendra, Laxmidas Manikpuri, Vishnu Prasad, Dayaram Satnami, Shiv Pandey, Umesh Patel, Mitthu Patel, Paluram Patel, Shankar Sidar, Manoj Shrivas, Rajendra Sidar, Hira Singh Yadav, Raju Pandey, Rajendra, Ajay Patel, Bablu Patel, Jeetram Yadav, Santosh, Akash and Ashok Patel.
