The Congress on Wednesday said that the ruling BJP was
creating hype on National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) which is solely meant
to deal terrorism and not to interfere into state’s matters. “12 states including
Chhattisgarh are opposing NCTC terming it against the federal system of the
country and trespassing of state governments’ rights. This is wrong notion as
the opposing states are really unaware of the objective of the NCTC,” said PCC
spokesperson Sushil Anand Shukla.
