NSUI demands treatment of burnt student from school

Raipur, February 11, 2012

The NSUI has demanded from government school Nayapara to incur treatment cost of its student Tulsi Dewangan who got burnt by a chemical while she was doing practical at school laboratory. In this connection, the NSUI members led by their state president Devendra Yadav also gheraoed school principal F Rahman on Saturday.
“The incident took place on January 3, 2012. The school was supposed to quickly provide medical aid to its student but it has not taken any initiative by far. Later, the NSUI members admitted Dewangan at Raipur-based hospital for proper treatment,” Yadav said.
“We will now mount pressure on District Education Officer (DEO) to provide fund for treatment of Dewangan,” Yadav added.
The NSUI members who gheraoed the school principal were national delegate Nikhil Dwivedi,  district general secretary Sumit Sao, Sachin Bangani, Yugal Dewangan, Hemant Manikpuri, Rama Yadav, Saira Bano, Durgesh Sahu, Bhupendra Yadav, Yamini Sinha, Rakesh Jangde, etc.
