Raipur, February 23, 2012

The Congress will organise its first workers’ training camp at Amlipadar under newly formed Gariyaband district (Bindranawagar legislative assembly) on Friday. About 1000 workers are likely to attend the camp. PCC president Nandkumar Patel and CLP leader Ravindra Choubey, incharge of training department TS Singhdeo and other senior leaders will give necessary tips to the workers regarding booth management in particular and poll preparation in general. The party plans to organise similar camps in 51 other Vidhan Sabha areas of the state.
According to information, AICC general secretary and incharge of state Congress BK Hariprasada and AICC secretary and state unit’s incharge secretary Bhakt Charandas would not be able to attend the camp owing to their hectic schedules.
Notably, the party was earlier supposed to organise the camp in Mainpur but then shifted the venue close to this location – Amlipadar.
The training will commence at 10 am. The party leadership has asked all the PCC office-bearers, executive members, all the members of monitoring and disciplinary committees, office-bearers of YC, NSUI, Mahila Congress, Seva Dal and all cells and morchas to mandatorily remain present in the training camp.
The objective of the training camps is to fill new energy among the workers to ensure its victory in next assembly and general elections. Besides, the trainers will also make the workers acquainted with the party’s history, policies, ideology and principals.
