After returning from poll-bound Uttar
Pradesh (UP), PCC president Nandkumar Patel will hold four meetings of
office-bearers and different committees at Congress Bhawan on February 13. CLP
leader Ravindra Choubey will accompany Patel in all these meetings.
According to information, Patel will first convene
meeting of party vice presidents at 12 pm. He will conduct next meeting of PCC
general secretaries and secretaries at 1 pm. At 3 pm, he will talk to the
members of monitoring committee in presence of panel chairman Arvind Netam.
Thereafter, at 4 pm, he will convene meeting of the disciplinary committee.
In the first two meetings, Patel will discuss with the
office-bearers about the party’s mission 2013 and 2014 strategies besides
taking stock of the district-level and Vidhan Sabha-level meetings to be held
on February 14, 15 16 and 17.
In the meeting of monitoring committee, the members
will discuss on how to collect more number of evidences regarding graft cases
in Centrally-sponsored schemes in coming months.
In the meeting of disciplinary committee, the members
will not only discuss about re-induction of few more expelled leaders but would
also frame stern rules to prevent workers from going astray prior to next
elections.
Notably, earlier all the four meetings were scheduled
to be held on February 6 but were postponed when the party’s national
leadership instructed Patel to join Congress poll campaign at UP.
After February 13 meeting, the party will organise
workers’ meetings in newly formed Bemetara and Sukma districts on February 14
and 15. Besides Patel and Choubey, these meetings will be attended by party’s
state unit incharge BK Hariprasada and incharge secretary Bhakt Charandas.
The district-level meetings will be followed by VS-level
meetings to be organised at Khairagarh and Dongargarh on February 16 and 17.
