The Congress monitoring committee will take stock of Central schemes in Bastar division’s Dantewada and Bijapur districts on February 22 and 23 respectively. The panel will also convene meetings of local partymen at district and block levels in both the districts. The panel’s district-level meetings will be attended by all its members including chairman Arvind Netam besides PCC president Nandkumar Patel, CLP leader Ravindra Choubey, senior tribal leader Mahendra Karma, Satyanarayan Sharma and Yogesh Tiwari.
According to information, Patel and Choubey will leave for Bastar division on February 21. They will first reach Kanker and interact with the party workers regarding their activities and poll preparations. Then, they will proceed towards Dantewada.
On the February 22, the duo will attend monitoring committee’s meeting at Dantewada. Several teams of panel members including local leaders will also convene meetings in different blocks including Geedam, Kuwakonda, Katekalyan, Bade Bacheli and Kirandool.
On February 23, the committee will hold meeting in Bijapur district in Bijapur, Bhairamgarh, Bhopalpatnam and Usur blocks.
