Expressing its concern over rising crime in capital city, the members of Youth Congress (YC) on Friday submitted a memorandum on the name of SSP Dipanshu Kaabra to ASP Abhishek Meena. The YC members pointed that the city has witnessed more than a dozen murder cases in just two months of 2012. “Besides, rape, abduction, dacoity and robbery have become order of the day,” they added. ASP Meena assured the YC members that the police would soon take measures to bring down crime rate in the city. The memorandum was submitted by YC’s Raipur North Vidhan Sabha president Sunil Kukreja, Neelkamal Gilhare, Anwar Huseein, Soma Thakur, Akash Sharma, Sewak Mahanand, Kushal Goswami, Kamran Ansari, Ekansh Sharma, Imamuddin, etc.
