The Youth Congress (YC) on Friday invited Urban Administration Minister Amar Agrawal to see dejected condition of Shankar Nagar based crematory.
The YC leader Akash Tiwari informed Agrawal that the crematory lacked basic facilities from wood, water, electricity to sanitation. He also informed the minister that it is the only crematory amid the population of about 50000 in its ambience but neither the local corporators nor the municipal had taken any initiative to improve its conditions.
Tiwari further informed Agrawal that many builders had started encroaching the crematory land while during night it turns into meeting point of the anti-social elements.
“The minister has assured us that he would soon inspect the crematory and take ensure provision of basic facilities there,” said Tiwari.
On the occasion were present Sattu Singh, Yash Gujar, Anil Jain, Ashu, GK Agrawal, Yatendra Singh Tomar, Rajat Chhabda, Ashish Shukla, Pranav Shukla, Sandeep Bhattacharya, Samir Singh, Golu Sharma, etc.
