The Youth Congress (YC) on Wednesday submitted a memorandum to SSP Dipanshu Kaabra regarding corruption in MNREGA works in Abhanpur block.
The YC’s Abhanpur Vidhan Sabha president Neelkamal Gilhare and Raipur North president Sunil Kukreja informed Kaabra that the government had registered case against sarpanch of Nawagaon (Abhanpur block) Bhagwati Bai Sahu, her spouse Tomar Lal Sahu, panchayat secretary Ramchand Tarak, Indrakumar Yadu, sub engineer RES janpad panchayat Abhanpur DD Jaiswal under section 409, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120B of IPC on recommendation of Lokpal, but the none had been arrested by far.
The YC warned of aggressive agitation against the government if the alleged accused would not be arrested quickly.
While submitting the memorandum Gilhare and Kukreja were accompanied by Dwarika Prasad Kosle, Santrin Bai Sonwani, Amrit bai Khandwane, Bhagirathi Bai Baya, Jeetabai Dhritlahre, Soma Thakur, Neelesh Yadav, etc.
