Hailing government’s decision to ban gutkha,
Congress on Saturday asked it to also prohibit sale of liquor in the state. “Liquor
is more dangerous than gutkha. It prolonged consumption can damage a person’s
liver and even result into his untimely death,” said DCC spokesperson Sheikh
Shakeel.
