Mahila Cong prez on two-day state visit from Aug 3


Raipur, July 30, 2012

The national president of Mahila Congress Anita Verma will be on two-day Chhattisgarh visit from August 3, 2012. The Pradesh Mahila Congress (PMC) secretary and spokesperson Nivedita Chaterjee informed that Verma will participate in PMC’s women’s conference at Jagdalpur.
Verma will arrive in the state capital on August 3 through regular flight from New Delhi. She will head on to Kanker at noon where she will interact with the organisation’s district unit members. On August 4, she will proceed to Jagdalpur to take part in women’s conference.
Chaterjee informed that the PMC conference aimed to infuse new energy in the workers so that they could raise all the issues related to women strongly in their respective areas.
The PMC also held meeting at Congress Bhawan regarding preparation of the conference. The meeting was attended by Asha Israel Joseph, Bhojkumari Yadu, Akda Thakur, Chhaya Verma, Nivedita Chaterjee, Chandrawati Sahu, Sunita Sharma, Premlata Bhoi, Ganga Yadav, Anita Gurupanch, Laxmi Rao, etc.
