After Vidhan Sabha’s monsoon session, Congress has once again engaged in strengthening organisation. In this regard, the party will organise training camps, district and state level meetings of workers in different parts of state in coming months. The party, which has conducted two-day workers’ training camp in Bastar division at Jagdalpur last month on June 29 and 30, will now hold training camp at Ambikapur in Sarguja division on July 25 and 26.
To attend the camp, the AICC general secretary and state Congress incharge BK Hariprasada will arrive in the state capital on Tuesday evening. He will leave for Ambikapur via Durg-Ambikapur express at night.
While the objective of the camp is to impart training to the participants pertaining to the party’s history and policies, the senior leaders will also urge them to start preparing for 2013 and 2014 polls.
The senior leaders will further ask the participants to launch party membership in both urban and rural areas, raise all the burning and local issues and to convey message to the public about the Centrally-sponsored schemes launched for them.
The camp will be attended by PCC president Nandkumar Patel, CLP leader Ravindra Choubey and PCC office-bearers from Sarguja division along with heads of cells and morchas, party’s public representatives and senior leaders of Sarguja division.
