Congress on Saturday alleged that the government was ignoring High Court’s stay order on construction of toll plaza near Sundar Nagar at Ring Road No 1. “The HC directed to stop the construction works on July 13, but unfortunately it did not happen. Even the PWD officials have not asked the implementing agency to stop the works,” said state president of Congress business cell Kanhaiyya Agrawal, general secretary Ashok Shivhare Atul Raghuvanshi and Nagrik Sangharsh Samiti representative Nischay Bajpayee. They demanded from the government to seek permission from the court through affidavit to revoke approval for toll plaza construction.
