Two factions of NSUI on Monday demonstrated before Pt Ravishankar Shukla University (RSU) and Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE). While one faction demanded quickly conduction of students’ union polls from the varsity administration, the other asked the board to announce the results of revaluation of class 10th and 12th students.
One faction of the NSUI members reached RSU administrative block on Monday and sloganeered in favour of students’ union polls.
In this connection, they also submitted a memorandum to the varsity registrar on the name of vice-chancellor.
They said that the students should not be kept deprived of their basic rights and they must get opportunity to use their voting power to choose their leaders.
They warned of launching signature campaign followed by demonstrations in favour of students’ union polls if the varsity administration would not fulfill their demand.
The other faction of the NSUI members reached CGBSE office and shouted slogans against the board for stalling the results of revaluation of class 10th and 12th students.
The RSU demonstration was participated by NSUI Raipur district vice president Bhavesh Shukla, Amit Sharma, Akash Sharma, Dinesh Mishra, Abhay Thakur, Dhananjay Tamrakar, Chandan Barik, Raju Rai, Ved Prakash, Saurabh Kapoor, Ankur, etc.
The NSUI members who agitated before CGBSE office were organisation’s Raipur district president Pradeep Sahu, Sandeep Yadu, Ravi Sen, Tarun Soni, Pankaj Singh Thakur, Vicky Pandey, Sandeep Thakur, Mohit Pathak, Babla Anant, etc.
