VC meets Pranab

Raipur, July 06, 2012

Veteran Congress leader Vidyacharan Shukla met UPA presidential candidate Pranab Mukherjee at the latter’s New Delhi residence on July 5 night. The duo discussed over the presidential polls slated to be held on July 19.
According to information, Shukla assured Mukherjee that state’s tribal Congress legislators would not do cross voting during presidential polls as was apprehended by the party’s national leadership in wake of Arvind Netam’s suspension.
