AICC general secretary and state Congress incharge BK Hariprasada has appealed to the partymen to foster preparation for upcoming Assembly polls to be held in 2013. Hariprasada was speaking during the first day of the party’s two-day divisional-level workers’ training camp at Jagdalpur on Friday.
The senior leaders including PCC president Nandkumar Patel, CLP leader Ravindra Choubey and others too exhorted the participants to put aside differences and get united for the big battle.
According to information, about 500 office-bearers including presidents, vice presidents and general secretaries of eight DCCs and 38 BCCs of Bastar division participated on the first day of the training camp.
The senior leaders also gave significant inputs regarding party’s poll strategy and booth level management.
The party’s chief spokesperson Shailesh Nitin Trivedi claimed that Congress received massive response from the participants in the training camp which was organised for the first time in Bastar division.
On the occasion were present senior tribal leader Mankuram Sodhi, former PCC president Dhanendra Sahu, Satyanarayan Sharma, PCC vice presidents TS Singhdeo and Kawasi Lakhma, PCC general secretaries Arun Vora, Ramesh Warlyani, Fulodevi Netam, Bastar Lok Sabha incharge Uday Mudliyar, Kanker Lok Sabha incharge Abdul Hameed Hayat, DCC Kondagaon president Shankar Sodhi, Manohar Lunia, DCC Bastar Rural president Lakheshwar Baghel, etc.
