The NSUI members on Saturday demanded conduction of direct students’ union polls in colleges.
In this connection, they sloganeered in favour of their demand holding placards and balloons near Ghadi Chowk.
They said that the students should not be kept deprived of their basic rights and they must get opportunity to use their voting power to choose their leaders.
They warned of launching aggressive agitation if Governor and chancellor of all universities would not lend permission to hold students’ union polls this time.
The NSUI members were present on the occasion were organisation’s Raipur district president Pradeep Sahu, Khileshwar Dewangan, Ravi Sen, Shailesh Hiranwar, Babla Anant, Rahul Raj Banjare, Ravi Raj Banjare, Tushar Vishwas, Prem Dubey, Abhishek Kasar, Sunil Netam, Anmol Gogo, etc.
