Cong to hold training camp at Sarguja in July end

After organising two-day workers’ training camp in Bastar division at Jagdalpur on June 29 and 30 the Congress will hold another training camp in Sarguja division in July end. A directive in this regard was issued by state Congress chief Nandkumar Patel during the meeting of PCC general secretaries at Congress Bhawan on Monday.
Terming the Bastar training camp satisfactory, Patel asked the general secretaries to ensure that the next camp should be equally fruitful for the participants. The training camp in Sarguja division will be organised in Ambikapur.
Patel further asked the general secretaries, who also hold charge of Lok Sabhas, to make mandatory monthly meeting of the District Congress Committees (DCCs) of their respective areas.
He asked them to formulate strategies to strengthen the organisation and intensify party activities through heads of Block Congress Committees (BCCs).
Besides, he assigned task to the general secretaries to inspire all the PCC office-bearers to mandatorily take membership of Congress Sandesh – the party’s monthly magazine.
It was also decided in the meeting to provide certificates to Congmen who participated in party’s jail bharo andolan against wrong policies of state government on the occasion of Kranti Diwas on August 9, 2011.
Earlier, he convened meeting of PCC vice presidents, treasurer and state heads of party’s frontal organisations and cells. In the meeting, he asked the vice presidents to help cells fostering their activities at district and state level.  
The meeting of general secretaries was followed by Congress discipline committee meeting and building construction committee meeting.
The Monday’s meetings were prominently attended by CLP leader Ravindra Choubey, PCC vice presidents – TS Singhdeo, Baijnath Chandrakar, KK Gupta, Chandrabhan Barmate, general secretaries – Arun Vora, Dr Shiv Kumar Daharia, Ramesh Warlyani, Vidhan Mishra, former party president Dhanendra Sahu, Mahant Ramsundar Das, Dr Renu Jogi, Dhanesh Patila, Abdul Hameed Hayat, Deepak Dubey, Shailesh Nitin Trivedi, Rajkamal Singhania, Kiranmayi Nayak, Subhash Dhuppad, Arun Singhania, Mahendra Chhabda, Shiv Singh Thakur, Motiram Sahu, Dr Shivnarayan Dwivedi, Lalit Mishra, Ramlal Bhardwaj, Surendra Sharma, etc.
