Deploring the government for failing to curb rising crime, the Congress on Thursday said the state had become safe hub for criminals. “People are living in terror as law and order is in haywire in Chhattisgarh,” said PCC spokesperson Mahendra Chhabda.
“The tall claims of good governance by ruling BJP proved to be empty boastings as the cases of murder, rape and abduction have increased to manifold under its regime in past eight years. Ironically, the police look helpless before the confidence of criminals,” he said.
