AICC general secretary and state Congress incharge BK Hariprasada will be on state visit on August 7, 2012. After BJYM showed him black flags and tried to hurl ink on him protesting his derogatory remarks against BJP and RSS, he is likely to face similar resistance from the ruling party members. However, Congress said that it would be cautious during his visit and would deal every adverse circumstance created by BJP and its frontal organisations.
PCC president Nandkumar Patel and CLP leader Ravindra Choubey talked to party office-bearers at Congress Bhawan on Saturday pertaining to ink hurling incident and Hariprasada’s August 7 visit. The duo assigned responsibilities to the office-bearers to avert any unprecedented and embarrassing incident. Hariprasada will reportedly attend party manthan programme at Dalli Rajhara on August 7.
On ink hurling incident, Patel and Choubey said the BJP, instead of waging war of ideology, was hurling ink, showing black flags and pelting stones on its opponents which proves that its existence was based on violence.
They alleged that the ruling party misused its powers to suppress voice of opposition.
