RMC’s officials including Mayor-in-Council member Chandra Behra on Monday inspected the ongoing month-long sanitation drive at Guru Govind Singh ward. RMC commenced the sanitation drive in joint collaboration with a private organisation Mahika Greens on January 27. To remove filth and garbage from the area, Mahika Greens has engaged 54 sanitation staff which is working in two phases. During inspection, the municipal’s Health department served notice to one eating joint for scattering garbage in its vicinity. The inspection team was comprised of nodal sanitary officer Dr Pritam Mishra, Zone-3 Commissioner Subhash Chandrakar and Mahik Greens director Ajay Pathak.
