Mayor meets Narayanasamy, Kidwai at Delhi

Mayor Kiranmayi Nayak on Monday met Union Minister of State for Planning and Parliamentary Affairs and state in-charge V Narayanasamy and has reportedly given clarification on brouhaha in the party after her friendly gestures towards RSS. Nayak returned home today evening but meanwhile, she also met AICC treasurer Motilal Vora and party’s general secretary Digvijay Singh.
While talking to Central Chronicle, she preferred to discuss on other aspects during her meeting with Narayanasamy She said, “We discussed various matters but I prominently sought Central aid for development of Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) on which Narayanasamy asked me send a comprehensive proposal of capital’s development plan to New Delhi. He has assured that he would recommend this proposal to Union Urban Development Minister Jaipal Reddy and request him to provide adequate fund for the RMC.”
Nayak also met Rajya Sabha member from Chhattisgarh Mohsina Kidwai. The duo discussed about development plans of Raipur city. Nayak informed that Kidwai too had assured to provide fund from her MP quota for RMC’s development.
When inquired about her discussions with Vora, she said the latter asked her to utilise her leadership skills in bringing comprehensive changes in the capital within six months.
