Was constructed without Building permission

The RMC on Thursday razed out an under-construction two-storeyed house at Pandri that was constructed without approved layout. The municipal’s demolition squad began its work in presence of police today morning at 11 am.
Initially, the house owner Guruwinder Singh Chawla and some of his acquaintances Chawla was asked to show the building permission and other relevant documents, he failed to produce any paper.
The Town Planner Sandeep Bangade informed that the two-storeyed house was being constructed in 1200 square feet area. However, the house owner neither acquired building permission nor followed any RMC rules before construction due to which the house was demolished, Bandge added.
According to information, Chawla had already invested about Rs 15 lakh in this illegal house which was almost in completion stage.
