Two-day national conference begins today


On Modern man: Existence and transcendence

Raipur, Febuary 09, 2010

The two-day national conference on -Modern man: Existence and transcendence, will begin here at Ramswaroop Das Niranjanlal Dharmshala on Wednesday. The conference will be organised under the aegis of Chhattisgarh English Teachers’ Association (CETA). The conference will be inaugurated by DGP Vishwaranjan at 12.30 pm. The conference will be presided over by Dr RS Sharma from Banaras Hindu University while the special guest will be the country’s renowned English litterateur and Sahitya Academy award winner Mahesh Dattani.
The conference will be attended by teachers and scholars across the country who would also present their creative works and research papers.
On first day of the conference, there will be discussion on – ‘Rachnakar ka sansar avum rachnatmak pratikriya’. While on the second and concluding day of the conference, the experts will give their views on – contemporary theatre.
The conference will conclude on Thursday during which Toursim and Culture Minister Brijmohan Agrawal will be the chief guest.
