As a system administrator in the institute
Yogesh Mishra
Raipur, February 06, 2010
Now, the NIT Director Shashi Krishna Pandey is making efforts to take her son Sunil Pandey for the post of system administrator. The institute had recently published an advertisement in its official website regarding the vacant post. The NIT sources informed that the eligibility criterion for the post is at least five years of experience in the same field. However, since Sunil does not fulfill the experience criterion, the norms have been reported to be altered.
Pandey had recently visited New Delhi to ensure that if a selection panel would be constituted for system administrator’s post then it should contain her acquainted members who could pick her son, informed sources.
The institute has few more vacant posts of Professors and Associate Professors for which the advertisement was flashed in the national newspapers in December 2009. The last date for submission of application forms was February 1, 2010. The Union Ministry of Human Resources Department will constitute new selection committee for these posts.
According to information, a number of candidates, who had applied earlier, have filled the application forms again with a hope that this time their luck factor would not deceive them. But unfortunately, in the selection process, Pandey’s likings and disliking predominate.
It is also learnt that Pandey is planning to create opportunities in the NIT for her spouse, KS Pandey, former Director Maulana Azad NIT (MANIT) Bhopal. Pandey’s spouse was the most controversial figure in MANIT and according to sources she is making grounds for his firm entry.

she is doing only one thing from past three years that is trying to appoint her son at higher grade pay of her daughter.
her daughter in law who is already appointed with 6 advance increment only having the MCA degree and no experience of teaching although the other candidates have higher degree ( m tech ) and good teaching experience got only three or four advance increment in same recruitment panel.
her son is waiting for his mothers gift that is a government job in NIT Raipur at higher pay scale than his wife and doing nothing at age of 35 years.
he never applies in any other institute even in private college because he is not capable to get the job anywhere. that is why he is staying in his mothers home without doing any thing.
All above written is baseless and false.
