The Town Planner Sandeep Bagde informed that the building belonged to one Narendra Singh. The plot area of the building was 1200 sq ft. Singh had constructed four shops in the ground floor using the entire space and one big hall for office purpose in the first floor.
When the edifice was under-construction, the RMC had served three notices to Singh under Municipal Act 293 and 307 and cautioned him that if he would not stop illegal construction, stern action would be taken against him. BJP bandh was a failure: NYC

Raipur, February 13, 2010

The Nationalist Youth Congress (NYC) has alleged that the bandh called by the BJP in protest against inflation in the country was a sheer drama because the ruling party wanted to hide the corruptions prevailed from top to bottom in the government. The state NYC’s spokesperson Sharanjeet Singh Tetri claimed that the bandh was a complete failure in the state in spite of BJP’s vain attempts to force the shopkeepers to shut down their business establishments. Tetri also alleged that the BJP used police and Chamber of Commerce in imposing bandh. He also termed the bandh call a failed attempt to besmirch Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar. If the BJP really wants to give relief to the people of the state from price rise then it should seriously take action against illegal stockists, black marketeers and corrupt people.
